Alice joined the Chamber in July 2021 as the Events and Member Programs Director and has been your liaison for the many programs that the Chamber offers. In December 2024, Alice was promoted to Acting President, to oversee the operations while the Board of Directors plan for the future.

Alice grew up with entrepreneurial parents who owned and operated a few franchises. She has a BA degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Rider University as well as a MA degree in Corporate Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her public relations, marketing and event planning career has crossed many business genres, including a water company, a drug and alcohol rehab, a wholesale food cooperative, an insurance agency, an insurance professionals’ advocacy group as well as the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce in Keene, New Hampshire. Alice also has owned her own scrapbooking business for the past 25 years. She understands the operations of big corporations, small offices, membership-based organizations, as well as sole proprietorships.

Originally from New Jersey, Alice started her career, met her husband (Jim) at work, and had 3 children (Danny, 29 and twins, Nikki, and Bill, 28. The family spent eight years in Keene, New Hampshire, where her children attended high school, and the twins left for college. In 2017, Jim was transferred to Pennsylvania and now Alice, Jim and Danny reside in Morgantown, PA, Nikki lives with her family in RI, and Bill in MD. Alice loves time with her family a new grandson in RI, and extended family in FL.

Hailey joined the Chamber in September 2021 as the Marketing and Communications Director. Hailey also heads the TriCounty Young Professionals - if you are interested in becoming a part of this program, be sure to email her!

Hailey attended Coastal Carolina University where she obtained her BS in Marketing and her Master's of Business Administration. During her four years at Coastal Carolina University, Hailey was an officer for the American Marketing Association and for the Universities Co-Ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and played on the lacrosse team. Hailey was also the MBA Representative, Treasurer, and Social Media Coordinator for the Graduate Student Association.

A lot of the experience Hailey brings to us is from her Graduate Assistantship with the Marketing and Hospitality Department in the Wall College of Business at Coastal Carolina University and an internship with the South Carolina Woman Magazine, parent news and transition news.

Despite being away at College in South Carolina for four years, Hailey was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She loves the beach, animals, sports, her family, and of course- Marketing!

Angela joined the Chamber in July 2023 as the Member Relations and Engagement Director.

Angela comes from a background of deep-rooted history in the tri-county area. Angela’s family (the Prout’s) owned and operated multiple farms in the tri-county area. They were also one of the original founders of the Pottstown Farmers Market. She was amongst the 4th generation to work for the family business until her grandfather’s retirement in the early 2000s.

She comes with a multitude of experiences working with local businesses throughout her career. Angela is very excited to work with the Chamber team and its members to promote community and maximize business growth in the tri-county area.

Originally from the Pottstown/Pottsgrove area, Angela now resides in Oley with her husband Dominick, her youngest of 3 children Ethan, and the family dog, Sweetie. Her other two children, Dominick & Candace, are living their best lives as young adults. You most likely find Angela in the kitchen when not indulging in family activities. Family, cooking and the outdoors are her passions.

Melissa Shainline, Member Services Director & Office Manager

Melissa is first in seniority at the Chamber and is known at the 'TriCounty Encyclopedia.' She began her employment with the Chamber over 12 years ago as Administrative Assistant. She began her role as Member Services Director & Office Administrator in July 2022.

Melissa attended Delaware Valley University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science & Management. She was a member of the Western Equestrian Team, Apiary Society, the academic fraternity Delta Tau Alpha, and the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. During college, Melissa also studied abroad at Hartpury University in Gloucester, United Kingdom.

Melissa is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Agribusiness Management, focusing on Honeybees. In addition, Melissa keeps honeybees and recently finished a term serving as Secretary for the Montgomery County Beekeeper's Association.

When not at work, she enjoys: traveling, reading, gardening, embroidery, knitting, and spending time with her dog (Morgan), cats (Jada and Patches), honeybees, and chickens.
