HEAR FROM OUR MEMBERS!

“You’ve heard me say this many times over the years … The TriCounty Chamber of Commerce is one of my favorites, and I belong to many. From when I first started here at Patient First nearly 10 years ago, you and your staff have always been totally helpful and totally responsive to my many questions, especially when we were first opening our center in Collegeville … and as we looked to expand community contacts in Pottstown. Now that we are well established in both communities, I/we are especially happy when you can help us share information of interest with the Chamber membership, and the community at large via our regularly distributed news/media/information releases and infographics. Hope that will continue. Its noticed and appreciated by me … and also by staff in my headquarters organization. When I look to connect with any one, or any type of business or activity in the community, turning to the Chamber and asked to be pointed in the right direction is always one of my first steps.” –George Yanoshik, Community Relations, Patient First

“When I first purchased Pottstown Dance Theatre I was only 31 (almost 32) and was full of questions. Not too long after that, the Schuylkill River flooded and came over to my school. I had to shut down. The Chamber was SUPER HELPFUL and offered to let me teach my dance classes in their offices until I could reopen. They’ve always been willing to jump in if needed and it’s been a huge blessing. I’m now almost 55 and know the Chamber helped get me through many hard times including the pandemic.” -Michelle Jones Wurtz, Pottstown Dance Theatre

"The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce has been an integral part of the success me and my wife have had as local business owners for over 32 years. Early in my career I was lucky enough to be a member of the board of directors for several years. Although eager to prove my value to the local business community, I realized quickly that one of the key elements of my participation was listening and learning. I learned from the best of the best. Although owning restaurants like McDonald’s came with its own set of learnings and values that can’t be taught in school, I immediately soaked in the knowledge and talent that surrounded me. That knowledge came from hundreds of Chamber members, including those who served with me on the board of directors. The value that I found in the Chamber of Commerce then, is still there today. My relationships I forged within the membership of the Chamber from the very beginning of my career still help me create success today. This legacy that my wife and I created, continues with my son, daughter-in-law, and daughter. They are the next generation of my family business and will be the next generation partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to continue to help local businesses be successful. We thank all the current and past TriCounty Chamber of Commerce members and leaders for all they’ve done for me and my family. We couldn’t have done it without you!" -Bruce Graham, McDonald’s

The TriCounty Chamber has a strong sense of place of quality of life, economic opportunity and generations of leaders to support the business and communities. While we have found value in the business connections that we made, none have compared to the close-knit community that exists within our active Chamber. The Chamber has given our organization a chance to get involved in the community with a positive, can-do attitude and encourage all business owners to get involved.
