Back to School, Back to Business!

The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and the school year is officially underway! As our community heads back to school, it's the perfect time to remember that our local businesses play a big role in helping our students and schools thrive.

From providing first jobs and internships to sponsoring sports teams, donating supplies, mentoring students, and supporting local schools and nonprofits, businesses are an important part of creating opportunities for the next generation.

And students have something to teach us, too! A new school year is all about learning, growing, trying something new, and building relationships — lessons that apply in business just as much as they do in the classroom.

So this school year, let's:

Support our local schools
Shop local for school supplies and services
Connect students with local career opportunities
Encourage young people to explore their passions
Give back to the organizations supporting our community
Invest in the next generation of local leaders
