TIP: What to do about permafrost relationships.
Hitting permafrost is always kind of jarring. It’s those times when you are trying to connect with someone and it just doesn’t work. They don’t return your calls, emails or texts. Or they don’t seem to remember you when you see each other at another event. “We met before? (blank look) Really?”
We’ve all been there, and when you think about it, it’s
unrealistic to expect every encounter to be a home run. Avoiding being upset over these dead ends requires you having the fortitude to ‘not take it personally’.
Remember it’s a bad investment in your time and energy.
