Change is the only constant.
2022 brings more change for the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce. I had mentioned in a previous article that the Chamber adopted a new Tiers Investment opportunity for our Members to participate in providing them with more control to customize their Membership experience. This new membership structure not only includes the annual payment of membership dues, but each tier also includes various values of member benefits, marketing exposure, and event sponsorships. Our top tier are “Stakeholders” based on their support of our organization but also providing support across the tri-county region and throughout our communities. The other three Tier Investments match the TriCounty Chamber’s three cornerstones – Building Communities, Creating Connections, and Supporting Commerce. Each cornerstone named Tier has a particular area of focus and includes benefits that align with that focus.
In an effort to guarantee our Members’ success with their tiers and realize the greatest value out of all the benefits that their tier offers, we are investing in an employee to work with our Tier Investors. This new part-time position, our Member Relations and Engagement Director, will serve as a concierge for these Members as her initial responsibility.
It is my pleasure to announce Megan McKee has been hired for this new position as Member Relations and Engagement Director. Megan is a former TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce employee, and we are excited to welcome her back and benefit from her skills.
With this new change comes a re-organization of some current staff responsibilities and with the talented team that we have in place we are grateful to the entire team for their attitude and owning of their areas of responsibility and bringing their best every day to benefit the Members of the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce. Alice Funk will modify a portion of her responsibilities and her title will change to reflect her focus on managing and
facilitating our events and expanding the programs that we offer to our Members. Her new title is Events and Member Programs Director.
One thing that does not change is our dedication to our Membership and we look forward to continuing to ask our Members what their needs are and with the dedication of our small (but growing) team we commit to working to meet and exceed those needs and our Members’ expectations.
A special thank you to the companies that to date have selected a Tier Investment opportunity:
